Portugal Pavilion

Jeremy and I went to Spain and Portugal for 10 days on our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time wandering the streets of Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon. By the time we arrived in Lisbon, we were both quite tired from all the running around, but luckily Jeremy convinced me to go to the Portugal Pavilion, outside the main city center in the Parque das Nacoes. Three metro transfers and a twenty minute walk later, we were there - with its mid-century modern Teleferic ride and beautiful riverfront. The highlight was definitely the Pavilion itself - the monolithic concrete structures supporting a wafer-thin length of concrete.

I love the explosive blue of the sky against the pale concrete.
